Now teaching online at Kara Bullock Art School
Mika is in her second year of teaching online art lessons for the Kara Bullock Art School. She joined the LET’S FACE IT TEAM and is a featured artist with 2 lessons in both 2023 and 2024. She also has a solo class where she teaches students how to draw extraordinary pet portraits using pastel pencils. Students say that Mika's teaching style is relaxed and encouraging.
LET’S FACE IT (LFI) is a year-long, online course. It is for anyone that wants to practice creating portraits and figurative art. Each week in 2024, you will receive one new online lesson from one of the fabulous artists on the LFI Team! These lessons are created to inspire you and expose you to different ways of drawing/painting the face and figure. We share strategies, tips, and techniques that we use to create our portrait and figurative artwork. You will definitely find something that works for you to help you continue on your journey of creating portraits.
Make art friends and find encouraging support
As part of the Kara Bullock Art School, you will have access to a whole new community of art friends in a private group on Facebook. This unique artists' community is encouraging and supportive and a fun place to post your work! There is also a separate FB group for Mika's Pet Portrait class where you can share your work, ask for help and see other students creations.
